When we text you, and why
At a Shuck Off™ pop-up you can ask us to text you when your food is ready, so you don’t have to stand at the counter. That is the only reason we would ever text you. This page explains exactly how you agree to it, what the message says, and how to stop it.

How you opt in
There is no web form and no pre-ticked box. Consent is given in person, out loud, at the counter:
- You order at the counter. If you’d rather not wait there, you tell the staff member you’d like a text when it’s ready.
- They open the notification panel on the till only because you asked. If you don’t ask, it stays closed and no number is ever typed.
- You give them your mobile number and they read you the disclosure shown on that screen — frequency, rates, STOP, HELP, and that we never sell or share your number.
- They tick the consent box to record that you agreed. Your consent is stored against that one order with a timestamp.
- You get exactly one message, when your food is ready. Then it’s over — your number isn’t added to any list.
If the box is not ticked, our system refuses to send the message. That is enforced on our server, not just on the screen — a staff member cannot override it.

There is only one kind of message. It always names us, and it always tells you how to stop.

How to stop the messages
Reply STOP to any message from us and you will not be texted again. You may also reply HELP for assistance, or email [email protected] and we will remove your number.
Because each opt-in covers a single order, there is usually nothing to unsubscribe from by the time you have eaten.
What we do with your number
We use it to send you that one message about that one order, and nothing else. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
